"Well, we are the couple from Russia. And we decided to marry not a lot time ago.
Our intention was to make unusual, romantic, but at the same light and not too overcrowded matrimonial procedure in a short time (we had only 2 months to arrange everything).
We found Sicily (and more particularly, Taormina) as a very beautiful place. Main question was how to arrange everything (including procedure, accommodation, documents and officials) in a place where you never have been. Tony and Isabella have immediately responded to our request. They were quick to prepare the schedule of the wedding according to our request. Everything was done in very professional and kind manner. Tony helped us to make the plan of the day, he has recommended us few restaurants to choose one for the celebration. Tony took over control for all the paper work and all the formalities (including official documents confirming the marriage, Russian translator at the procedure etc.). Additionally Tony helped us with the ideas for the stag-and-hen parties and he has arranged it. It was easy with his help to find accommodation for us (old-fashioned villa in the centre of Taormina) and for all our guests. During all our stay Tony was always ready to support us in all our requests and ideas.
Tony has found special car (sport car) for the wedding procedure and it exceeded our expectations. We met Isabella at the day we came to Taormina. Isabella has worked out with all the girls requests very distinctly and professionally.
We just enjoyed our time and were full of energy before the day of marriage.
The wedding day was really magic and memorable. We thought only about each other and we didn’t worry about all the things during the procedure. It was really festive and beautiful wedding procedure, nice buffet on the central Taormina street with the live Sicily music, and finally the restaurant with delicious food and pleasant atmosphere with the Mediterranean view. It was very important that Tony and Isabella were always nearby and responsive to all our requests and ideas.
We were enough relaxed to get all the positive emotions from the wedding and enjoyed each other.
Sure it was one of the main reasons why this day is memorable for us and we want to come back and celebrate anniversary in Sicily and of course come back to our new friends Isabella and Tony!!!"

We had a fantastic day, one that we are all still talking about and will for years to come.
We felt like I knew them a lot longer and they got exactly what we wanted down to a tee.

Where do we start... all we wanted from the moment we got engaged was a beautiful special small wedding somewhere abroad,after being in contact with a few wedding planners in Sicily we decided on Tony and Isabella.
They put no pressure on us they made all emailing back and fort so easy if ever there was a question we needed to ask nothing was a problem.
In April on 2013 we went over to Taormina to visit and to say we were so happy with our choice is an understatement, we fell in love with the place it is so fabulous.
Tony and Isabella were so lovely to us and made us feel very welcome and that's all we needed we knew then we had picked the right place. On September the 15th our friends and family made the journey with us to Taormina for our big day, everything was all organised for us all we had to do was but the final touches to what would be the best day of our lives. Our big day arrived and it was everything we dreamed it would be and more,Tony and Isabella spent the day with us and our guests and made sure everything ran smoothly which it did.
We would just like to say to anybody looking into going to Sicily to get married look no further then Tony and Isabella they are amazing at what they do.

"Thanks to Tony and Isabella, we had a fairy tale wedding.
Our wedding preparation was complex with me being American, my fiancé being Australia, us living in the UK, and getting married in Sicily. We also had a mixed religion marriage. Tony coached us every step of the way to ensure all of the paperwork was compliant from both civil and religious points of view.
We did not have a care in the world the day of the wedding.
Isabella had every detail down pat... from practice hair styles, guest mementoes, logistics getting to the church, flowers, ceremony booklets, etc... you name it... everything was under control.
Most of my friends thought I had been to Taormina several times since everything was perfectly orchestrated and done to perfection.

"To those who have taken time to read this it will not do justice to the amazing work Tony & Isabella carried out for us as wedding planners. I can only use two words to describe our wedding "truly magical" We found this site and immediately fell in love with it. We contacted Tony and Isabella and ever since then we had no stress what so ever. As you can see there are plenty of options for the perfect wedding and whatever you chose I have no doubt it will be executed at the highest possible standard with no hassle or grief and allow you to enjoy every aspect of your wedding day. Every wee detail was carried out to perfection and we knew exactly what was happening and what was to be expected of us from day one. Everything was taken care for us, we had nothing to do, just to be there. We had our service in Chiesa del Varo', the most spectacular church we & our guests have been in. The priest was lovely & made the ceremony so special we'll never forget it. As for the musicians, heavenly! Then to Mocambo cafe and all we can say is outstanding! Our guests are still talking about the Sicilian folk group and how they entertained everyone! It was the best laugh we had! Then finally to La Giara, and at this we are speechless. The service was out of this world and we thank all the staff from the bottom of our hearts for making it the most amazing evening ever. A perfect end to our special day! Finally to Tony & Isabella we are truly grateful for making our wedding day the most amazing, stress free, enjoyable day of our lives. Our guests summed it up perfectly by saying it was just magical from start to finish! We will never forget it and know we have made true friends through the whole process. Cliche but it most certainly was the best day of our lives and that was all down to the great work of these two people and we cannot thank you enough.

"From the first email sent to Tony and Isabella we knew we were in great hands.
The whole process was made so simple for us, it couldn't have been easier. Once we arrived and met the lovely Tony and Isabella, we began to make final arrangements from flowers, hair to taxis for our guests.
We were married in Palazzo Duca di Stefano, it is truly beautiful and has lots of character, all our guests were blown away. We then made our way to Mocambo cafe and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the music and dancing, the band and staff were fantastic.
Then we moved to our reception at La Giara and wow, it is stunning, the venue is beautiful and the staff were amazing and so helpful.
We arrived to gorgeous canapés and the breath taking view, the dinner itself and the cake was perfection.
We loved every second of our day and Tony and Isabella were so kind and patient through out the whole process, they made it stress free.
Also the photographer did a truly amazing job, we love our album and he captured the day perfectly!

Thank you so much for giving us the most magical wedding day, one which we will treasure in our hearts for many years to come. What can we say about these two fantastic people: a few words which spring to mind are kind, patient, efficient, helpful, caring and professional. From the minute we received our first email reply from Tony & Isabella we knew we were in safe hands, they guided us through all the paperwork requirements effortlessly.
As the months rolled by and the time to fly out to Taormina fast approached I think we were the most stress free bride and groom ever! We arrived in Taormina the week before our wedding and were picked up by Angelo who was brilliant throughout our stay! Tony and Isabella were on hand to help us organise the flowers for the church, hair appointments and the finishing touches in La Giara.
Nothing was too much trouble, anything we needed they arranged for us.
The day of the wedding can only be described as the best day of our lives, it exceeded all our expectations.
Tony & Isabella were there to guide us throughout the day making sure everything ran smoothly. We celebrated mass in Chiesa del Varo, the most beautiful and breathtaking church we have ever seen and teamed with the musicians and singer who had the voice of an angel added to the fairytale day. The two of us were made to feel like royalty as we walked down the street to Mocambo with our guests, people stopped us to take pictures and congratulate us.
The Sicilian Folk Band greeted us at Mocambo and entertained our guests while we were whisked away to have our photos taken in some of the most beautiful areas of Taormina.
The reception at La Giara can only be described as out of this world, we were blown away every little detail had been taken care of, from the rose petals, balloons and flowers arrangements on the tables. Our guests were amazed by the venue and of course the spectacular views. The food was amazing and they catered so well to our traditional Irish requests nothing was too much trouble. The wedding cake was the most delicious cake we have ever eaten.
A massive thank you to all the staff at La Giara! From the start of the day till we danced into the early hours of the morning we had the time of our lives, reflecting back on this truly amazing day there is not one thing we would have changed. We would like to thank Tony & Isabella from the bottom of our hearts for making this day so special.
We have been left with the most wonderful memories and spectacular photos. You truly are wonderful wedding planners and we would consider you both not only as our wedding planners but good friends now."

"We knew we wanted to get married abroad and make a holiday of it with all of our close friends and family, but we had no idea where to start! After narrowing our search down to Europe, then Sicily, we searched for wedding planners in Taormina.
On first contact with Tony, he was so helpful and accommodating, answering our emails as quickly as he could and helping us to get our heads around the whole thing! Tony was extremely understanding when it came to making decisions of location and managing our budget.
We changed the format of our wedding quite a few times and Tony really had the patience of a saint! Both Tony and Isabella were so kind and reassuring through the whole thing and we felt we could put all of our trust in them even though we’d never met. During the week of our wedding they were both at our side whenever we needed them. Isabella came with me to choose my wedding flowers and did everything she could to get me the best deal and exactly what I asked for – something I could not have done by myself as I don’t speak Italian! After this, she helped Adam & I arrange the ceremony itself.
We had a symbolic ceremony which was delivered by Isabella herself. We both felt that she genuinely cared about how the ceremony was going to be delivered. Isabella put so much work into it which resulted in a very personal, upbeat but moving ceremony that was perfect for us.
During the whole process from start to finish, Tony & Isabella were welcoming, reassuring, patient and extremely kind to us. They are so laid back yet so efficient and really do care a lot about what they do.
We will always be grateful to them for making our wedding day so special."

"We originally wished for the two of us to get married in Sicily with no family or friends.
This was not a problem for Tony and Isabella, they sorted out the paperwork and all loose ends.

When the situation changed and we had a large group come to celebrate our special day, there was no stress involved (our end) as Tony and Isabella made all the arrangements.
We don't think we could ever stress this enough, but the location, the atmosphere, the service and the day was unbelievable (surpassing all expectations).

We had several guests comment that it was the best wedding ever attended (including their own).
A massive part of the days success was down to Tony and Isabella's knowledge, experience, people skills and hard work.

Also, value for money Tony and Isabella were extremely reasonable.
Our only regret is that we could have the same experience again."

"In 2006, my husband and myself went to Taormina as our first holiday together. We both fell in love with the place instantly. Everything about it is simply beautiful. Anyway, my husband proposed at the beginning of 2012 and as soon as he did, I asked if we could marry in Taormina! He readily agreed and when we got back from our holiday in Sri Lanka, I started researching.
I found Tony and Isabella and started conversing with them over email. I told them approximately how many we were expecting and a rough budget. They gave us a range of options which some looked like they would be good for us.
It is so hard when you cannot see the places for yourself though so we arranged a visit in may 2012. As I wanted to get it just right and not to miss anything, I had arranged visits to other hotels also whilst we were over there. Anyway, we arrived in the evening and went straight to to the Time Out pub to meet Tony. We told him of our intentions (seeing the other hotels) and he gave us his honest opinion.
After viewing these places, he was absolutely right. My dad was disabled so they had to bear this into consideration and they were very thoughtful with this. Anyway, after looking at a few different places, I was feeling like we weren't going to be able to find somewhere to match our criteria especially for my dad. We had already viewed the palazzo Duca di Santo Stefano to actually get married in (and there are steps outside but as my dad could manage minimal walking at the time, Tony and Isabella suggested the staircase inside the building). Anyway, Tony said that there was another place (for the reception) but it hasn't started doing weddings yet but we could have a look. Anyway, upon walking into the Ashbee, I started to giggle and knew immediately that this was the place (Isabella already knew I'd like it)!
They put us in touch with Claudio and Angelo who helped with accommodation and excursions. They even tried to accommodate for my dad's further ill health. So, we followed most of their suggestions and are very pleased we did. The violinist was perfect at the ceremony (filled in the wait for my arrival), the car and the drinks in the Mocambo but most of all, the Sicilian folk group. Now, before we went, we had friends/family turn their noses up at this but every single person LOVED it! The only problem was, they didn't want to leave the Mocambo!
The Ashbee was wonderful and Isabella (you will fall in love with Isabella) goes with you to appointments such as florists and hairdressers to translate (this is necessary in Sicily). Unfortunately, my dad passed away in the April of this year and my husband lost his aunt only one month before we married.
It was a very emotional day but Tony and Isabella took away any stress.
Both Tony and Isabella are very warm people, good at what they do and I think it helps that Isabella loves a wedding!"

"Once we decided we wanted a wedding abroad we began our research and came across Tony & Isabella’s website. The testimonials were so good that we eagerly sent off an email. From the very start Tony & Isabella were nothing but helpful. Answering every question in detail and advising us of the various options available to us.
When we first visited Taormina in June 2012 we both fell in love with this beautiful romantic town and made our decision that this would be the venue for the most amazing wedding for both of us, our families and our friends.
The year flew by and Tony and Isabella patiently and promptly guided us through the whole process.
They made it so easy and straightforward. When we arrived in Taormina the week before our wedding they were there to help us with any queries and to organise all the little details in La Giara and the church to help us make our day so special and magical. They made it all so easy!
The day itself was the most amazing day of our lives. It was like a fairytale and we were the Prince and Princess.
It exceeded not only all our 73 guest’s expectations but also our own. It blew us away as we could never have dreamed it would be so perfect. The musicians and singer at the church were only amazing and complimented the ambience of the most beautiful church in the world in our eyes Chiesa del Varo. From here we strolled down the magical streets of Taormina to Mocambo with our guests in tow and felt like celebrities with people congratulating us and taking photos. When we reached the Piazza we were greeted by the Sicilian Folk Band. Our guests had the best fun with them and are still talking about what we missed when we were whisked off to get our photos done at Castlemola and the Gardens. The reception venue at La Giara was only fabulous. Our guests were blown away by the venue itself and the views not to talk of the actual food from the canapés to the wedding dinner and we won’t mention the cake… (everyone wanted second helpings) Nino and the staff outdid themselves. Our guests enjoyed every minute - the food, the drink, the music and are still talking about the fantastic day they had.
From the very start of the day to finish at 6am it was the most amazing day of our lives. We cannot think of one thing that we would have changed. It was absolutely perfect and this is down to Tony and Isabella’s fantastic wedding planning skills. Words cannot express our gratitude to you both and the staff of Mocambo and La Giara and everyone else involved. We had to worry about nothing! If only we could do it all again... but don’t worry we will be back for the first anniversary.

"After proposing marriage (and accepting) whilst on holiday in Sicily three years ago, we decided, having fell in love with Taormina, that we would also like to get married there as well. We carried out some research and also contacted a couple that had got married in Taormina with the assistance of Tony and Isabella.
So, with this in mind we emailed Tony to make some initial enquiries about the possibility of doing something similar. We quickly received a response with details of costs for various services, ranging from details on wedding and reception venues, wedding car hire, photographers, musicians, flowers, hairdresser and beautician.
We had a good feeling about having chosen Tony and Isabella to be our wedding planners, but, just to be absolutely sure, we planned a visit to meet them the following year. We met up with Tony and Isabella the following June, where they showed us around town and arranged meals at various potential wedding reception venues. We were also able to visit the florist that we would use in order to gain an idea of what flowers would be available in June.
As we are not Catholic, it meant that we would have a civil ceremony at Palazzo Duca di Santo Stefano. It was a truly beautiful setting. Tony also arranged for us to attend a wedding of one of the couples that he was the wedding planner for at this venue.
We hid at the back of the room, but it gave a us to chance to witness the ceremony itself and help with planning our own. Tony also gave us advice on accommodation and hotels for our guests to stay at and also put us in touch with someone who had various apartments around the town and was able to show us around some of them. We departed Taormina that year feeling fully satisfied that we could entrust our wedding plans to Tony and Isabella and prepared to commence with the arrangements to go ahead with plans for our wedding in 2013. We had a barrage of questions and exchanged many emails, to which Tony and Isabella always quickly responded, putting our minds at ease.
They even helped out with enquiries when the Nulla Osta from the embassy in Rome seemed to take an eternity to arrive. June 2013 quickly arrived and we flew out with our guests. Tony had provided a contact through which we were able to arrange a mini-bus to transport us to Taormina from Catania airport. We met up with Tony and Isabella the following evening at the Timeout pub, where we were able to go through the plans for the wedding day, ensure the devices that we had the music to play at the ceremony and the reception would work with the systems at the venues etc.
Over the next few days, Isabella took me to the florist to confirm the flowers for the bouquet and venue, to the hairdresser and beautician for a trial and to the town hall to complete the paperwork.
On the wedding day, appointments had been booked at the hairdresser and for the beautician, giving enough time for us to get ready for the photographer arriving at our hotel. The wedding bouquet was delivered to the hotel in plenty of time also. The car arrived at the hotel and whisked my (now) husband off to the Palazzo where he was met by Tony and was able to ensure the venue was set-up as per my instructions.
The ceremony went without a hitch, Tony faded in and out the music as was appropriate and ensured that our guests were happy. After some photos, we then made the short walk to the Mocambo bar, which is just opposite Piazza IX Aprile on Corso Umberto, where we had Prosecco and canapés. We left our guests quaffing the Prosecco whilst we had further photos taken. Tony and Isabella then escorted our guests to the reception at The Ashbee and co-ordinated it so that we then arrived shortly afterwards. We enjoyed more Prosecco and canapés by the poolside before proceeding to the reception on the roof top. We had the rooftop to ourselves and were able to play our own selection of music whilst enjoying our meal. Overall we feel that we couldn't have had a more perfect day and we enjoyed every minute of it.
We found throughout the whole experience that both Tony and Isabella were a calming influence, knew exactly what needed to be done and when and were truly a professional couple, whom I would not hesitate to recommend.
If we had the opportunity to do it over again, I would most definitely choose Tony and Isabella as our wedding planners."

"We first visited Taormina in 2006 and immediately fell in love with the town; it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and you could not wish for a more romantic setting. When we got engaged we both had the idea for a wedding overseas and Taormina came to mind straight away, the only thing making us a little unsure about this was the potential issues with setting everything up and the language barrier.
After a bit of research I came across Tony and Isabella and as soon as I made contact I could tell that I was in safe hands. Tony provided me with a very clear overview of the options, costs and above all else he gave me real confidence that he would be able to assist us at every step of the way. We travelled out to meet Tony and Isabella one year before our planned wedding date and they showed us around the town, took us to see the various venues and gave us some further insight into how we could personalise our day – nothing seemed too much trouble.
Between that trip and the actual wedding we exchanged lots of emails and calls and Tony and Isabella were always prompt to respond. The planning of the wedding was so straightforward and the ability to tailor our wedding day to our own personal taste was really appreciated. From the minute we arrived in Taormina a few days before our wedding, Tony and Isabella were available to help us with everything and made us feel so special.
The day itself was the most magical day of our lives; it could not have been more perfect – the ceremony at the Palazzo, followed by the amazing Sicilian Folk Band and the incredible meal at La Giara where we were treated like old friends by all of the staff. The food, drink, entertainment, flowers and venue were beyond our wildest dreams and friends of ours are still talking about the day since we arrived back in the UK.

I have always dreamed of getting married in Italy, so we set about finding a place that would suit us both; this is when we discovered Taormina.
We were a little nervous at first as we are both from Ireland but live in Sydney.
However our first contact with Tony and Isabella put out minds at ease straight away, as they explained things thoroughly and this made us believe it wouldn't be as difficult as we first thought - and we were right!
In the 12 months leading up to the big day, Tony and Isabella were available to help us at every step, including the paperwork; working out all the little details for the day; assisting with guest accommodation and much more.
They go above and beyond what you would expect from your wedding planners and were so accommodating to us and our guests when we arrived the week before the wedding.
Everything on the day ran smoothly with Tony and Isabella in the background at all times helping things along.
All of our 38 guests commented on what a fantastic day, and holiday, they had; how beautiful the church was, the amazing singer, how fantastic the views and food from La Giara was, and the fun they had in the cafe with the Sicilian Folk Band.
We both had an absolutely amazing day, it truly was the best day of our lives and we wouldn't have changed a thing.
We hadn't seen many of our family and friends in a couple of years and this made the holiday and the wedding day itself that bit more special for us.

"We went to Sicily in 2005 and fell in love with Taormina. When we got engaged there was only one place we wanted to get married. We were quite nervous not going out there before hand to organise the wedding so we needed an excellent wedding planning service. We came across www. weddinginsicily.ie and contacted Tony. Tony was extremely prompt with any information we needed through emails. It was comforting to know he and Isabella have so much experience with wedding planning. When we arrived in Taormina we met Tony on the first night in the Time Out Pub. He immediately made us feel welcome and relaxed. Fiona was sick on the first 2 days and Isabella took control of everything. She organised the final details, which are normally done with the bride, calmly and efficiently without Fiona. Isabella assisted the bridesmaids with the last minute tasks which allowed Fiona to relax and recover. Knowing that everything was being taken care of took away a lot of the stress.
The day itself went so smoothly. We were lucky with the weather but every other aspect of the day wasn’t down to luck. Everything was carefully planned and seamlessly executed by Tony and Isabella.
They were there all the way, in the background, if we needed anything, without being intrusive.
The day had a lovely flow, from the ceremony right up to the first dance under the orange trees in Time Out Pub. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed it and kept wondering what would come next. For us, it was better than we could have ever imagined. The church, Chiesa Madonna della Rocca, was so intimate and truly beautiful. We loved strolling through the streets with our guests before stopping for prosecco in Mocambo. The food, wine and wedding cake in Al Duomo Restaurant were exquisite. Tony informed us of the best places for photos and we got some amazing shots. And of course travelling around in the little red Fiat 500 was so much fun. None of the group, besides us, had been in Sicily before. Everyone is now in love with the place and looking forward to returning. They all insist it was the best wedding they ever attended and one of the best holiday experiences they ever had.
This is down to Tony and Isabella’s professionalism. The service they provide is second to none and we highly recommend it. If we were to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing.
We would definitely want Tony and Isabella by our side every step of the way. We couldn’t have done it without them. When we return for a holiday, we will be heading to Time Out Pub to catch up."
